Day 1
Arrival in Fes
Upon your arrival in Fes, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your elegant riad nestled within the historic medina. Should you arrive in the morning, indulge in a guided tour of the medina, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide.
Day 2
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erg Chebbi
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Fes, embark on a journey to the captivating desert of Merzouga. En route, pass through the charming city of Ifrane and the scenic town of Azrou, where you can pause to feed the playful monkeys. Continue to the picturesque city of Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas and renowned for its apple cultivation. Enjoy a leisurely lunch here before proceeding through the lush Ziz Valley. Upon arriving in Erfoud, head directly to Merzouga for a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay in a luxurious hotel near the dunes.
Day 3
Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert
Begin your day with breakfast, followed by an exploration of the mesmerizing Merzouga desert. Visit nomadic families in their traditional tents, then journey to Taouz to marvel at ancient rock carvings. Continue to Khamlia to savor a traditional Berber pizza and enjoy the vibrant music and dance of the Gnawa people. As the afternoon wanes, embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Witness the enchanting sunset, partake in a Berber drum music show, and enjoy a gourmet dinner around a campfire. Spend a magical night under the stars in a luxurious Berber camp.
Day 4
Merzouga – Erfoud – Touroug – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
After witnessing a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara, enjoy breakfast and return to Merzouga on camelback. Continue your journey to Rissani to visit the bustling Tafilalt market and the sacred Mausoleum of Molay Ali Chrif Alaoui. Travel through Erfoud and Touroug to reach the majestic Todra Gorges. After lunch, proceed via Tinghir to Boumalne Dades, where you can capture stunning photographs of the Dades Valley. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel nestled within the Dades Gorges.
Day 5
Dades Gorges – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou
Travel through the picturesque Dades Valley to Kelaa Mgouna, famous for its rose plantations. Visit a rose cooperative before continuing to Skoura to explore the historic Amridil Kasbah. Proceed to Ouarzazate for a photo stop at the impressive Taourirt Kasbah and a visit to the renowned film studios. Arrive at the village of Ait Benhaddou, where you will enjoy dinner and a luxurious overnight stay in a traditional hotel.
Day 6
Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After a hearty breakfast, a local guide will escort you through the iconic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following this cultural immersion, continue your journey to Marrakech, stopping at Telouet to visit the opulent Kasbah of Glaoui. Cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech, where you will stay in a lavish riad within the medina.
Day 7
Guided Tour of Marrakech
Discover the rich history and vibrant culture of Marrakech with your expert local guide. Explore the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Bahia and Badi Palaces, the Jewish Quarter, the Saadian Tombs, and the serene Menara Gardens. Return to your luxurious riad for an enchanting evening.
Day 8
Marrakech – Essaouira
Depart for the coastal town of Essaouira after breakfast. Along the way, visit an argan oil cooperative to witness the traditional extraction process. Upon arrival in Essaouira, explore the charming medina and the picturesque port of Sakala, capturing beautiful photographs. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a delightful riad.
Day 9
Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, embark on a scenic transfer back to Fes. En route, stop in Casablanca to visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque, and in Rabat to explore the iconic Hassan Tower. Continue to Meknes to visit the Mausoleum of Molay Ismail before arriving in Fes for your final night's accommodation.
